These words are just striking our ears from last so many days.
And little do we look upon the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacist as a whole who are true torch bearers in today’s health revolution.
Health crisis is a human curse. As we know, if wealth is lost, nothing is lost but if health is lost, we are no where.
How easy it has become to just take a paracetamol tablet when we feel ached or tired with fatigue.
Within few minutes we feel fresh and resume to our work.
According to a layman, nothing counts on one tablet.
But for a pharmacist, multiple studies, tests, trials and compliances have been done with endless research.
The whole of traditional pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics with modern day pharmacovigilence and pharmacoeconomics coming into picture, the whole pharmacy sector is on the door of revolution.
From finding the physical properties of the drugs till marketing it and making it available in the market is the job of a pharmacist.
Then too, in the outer world, work of pharmacist goes unnoticed.
Being one of the most traditional field, pharmacy is not restricted to a tablet, capsule or a solution.
Pharmacy is a way of living life itself.
Over the ages, with modernization pharma sector has also made itself flexible to meet and encounter the day to day lifestyle of people.
Not just restricting itself to a tablet or a capsule, but it has always encouraged young minds to meet up to their potential and gave them equal opportunity to pursue themselves and see their projectile growing high.
With such formulations and discoveries encountered everyday, from a formulation scientist to a medical representative and a prescription expert, the pharmacist have themselves modified their existence according to the need of the society.
With new ideas and innovations coming up, now the scenario has being witnessing a major drift from being a traditional unnoticed career field to be one of the epicenter of technical revolution and medical boon.
Even when the world stands at stake and is on the footsteps facing a deadly virus like COVID-19, all eyes are up with hope looking towards pharmaceutical sector for some discovery and magic.
People lives have been saved from wars, pandemics and global crisis.
Advancement in the pharmaceutical sector has also helped dropping the mortality rate saving the life of a new born with equal potential as that of the old aged.
Even, after having such a great potential to handle global health crisis and maintain a balance, the job of a pharmacist is always looked up as an odd and secondary profession.
Surpassing all these think tanks and false vibes, the pharmacy field has always flourished with young and ignited minds. The youth globally has seen pharmaceutical industry as an aspiring field.
And being a budding pharmacist, I would undoubtedly and joyously say that, pharmacy has not only made us rebuilt our minds but also made us reinvent ourselves from every word we read and write as reestablish us to be the best health professional and to contribute to the society and follow the oath we take with determination and pride. Pharmacy is a boon to a society which will always be an evergreen field and close to our heart.
