Job Description:
The Senior Medical Writer must create clinically relevant content for a range of medical communication documents while meeting all project requirements, high-quality standards, and timelines.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
- An excellent understanding of the pharmaceuticals industry and the drug development process
- Experience in data handling and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple writing projects at one time
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Review work is done by team members and provides appropriate feedback
- Ability to mentor 2-3 full-time medical writers
- Be the primary point of contact on matters of scientific content for the assigned internal and client projects.
- Participate in briefing and brainstorming meetings
- Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft tools
Education:
MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, Ph.D., and Post-Graduate degree in life sciences discipline (Microbiology, Molecular biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biostatistics, and allied subjects)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Writer in a pharmaceutical company or medical communications agency
