The National Chemistry Week is celebrated keeping in mind the contribution of chemistry in human life and simplifications throughout the universe. Chemistry has been an inseparable part of academics, experimentation its importance needs to be highlighted and introduced to the younger generation with more enthusiasm and willingness. Every aspect of chemistry has its own unique theory to make human life richer in knowledge and thinking. The American Chemical Society (ACS) is making a small contribution in taking chemistry to each and every child and introduces it to them in its own unique way. Every year the National Chemistry Week is celebrated with enthusiasm worldwide the theme for this year’s national chemistry week is “Sticking with Chemistry.”
Efforts have been made by teachers, academicians, pharmacists, and chemists worldwide to make chemistry a People’s Subject by enriching its conceptual knowledge and developing scientific skills, and encouraging young minds towards Research and Development in the field of Chemistry and allied subjects.
In these difficult times, when the COVID-19 pandemic has brought the world at stay and people are locked in their rooms, the vaccine is the only hope seen in the world. For the development of vaccines, chemistry has accelerated the studies to get the results faster and trying hard to bring relief to the people.
On a concluding note, Chemistry should be taught and encouraged thoroughly and introduced to the younger generations to see more promising results in the field by the plethora of opportunities given by the field.
